Tour to Morocco 2013 (Monfragüe)

The second stop was Parque Nacional de Monfragüe (Spain). A good place to get used to the heat. At the camping there were a lot of Azure-winged Magpies (Cyanopica cyanus) flying around. Not very common to me. During the day trips (and some late evening trips) we saw different vultures, Large Psammodromus (Psammodromus algirus), Thekla Larks (Galerida theklae), Crested Larks (Galerida cristata), Spanish pond turtles/Mediterranean turtles (Mauremys leprosa), Mediterranean tree frog (Hyla meridionalis) near the swimming pool, red fox (Vulpes vulpes), red deers (Cervus elaphus), Perez’s Frog (Pelophylax perezi) and more. Besides that, the landscapes are also very beautiful.
